This banner was created as part of a community art project to brighten the view for patients receiving treatment at the Raab Clinic. After experiencing long chemotherapy sessions looking out at blank brick walls, a local Carteret county teacher proposed transforming the space with seasonal artwork and gardens. This is the fourth BMS banner we will be contributing to the Raab Clinic collection.

Mark your calendars now! 8th Grade will be hosting an out door movie night. They will be showing The Sandlot, gates open @ 7 and the movie starts @ 7:30. Tickets are $5 and there will be concession sales.
The BMS Battle of the Books team competed in the CCPS Battle of the Books Competition this past Friday, Feb. 20th. We are proud of their perseverance and dedication to reading the books and attending practices since October!

BMS launched our Genre Reading Challenge this week, and we’re excited to see our students dive into new books! Students are being challenged to read 6 different books from 6 different genres and respond to all prompts on their Genre Reading Challenge tracking sheets.
📝 Important Reminder: Tracking sheets must be turned in by April 30th.
🎁 All students who submit a completed tracking sheet will receive a small prize, and their name will be entered into a drawing for bigger prizes!

Winter sports pictures will take place on Friday February 13th for Girl's Basketball, Boy's Basketball, Wrestling and Cheerleading. Additionally, Boy's Soccer and Boy's Golf will take picture retakes. Athletes need to bring their uniforms. Uniforms will be made available for Boy's Soccer and Boy's golf when pictures are taken. Students have been given picture forms to take home. Students will need to bring those forms back and give them to the photographers on Friday February 13th. If you purchase pictures online your student will need to bring the order form with the online order number.
