This banner was created as part of a community art project to brighten the view for patients receiving treatment at the Raab Clinic. After experiencing long chemotherapy sessions looking out at blank brick walls, a local Carteret county teacher proposed transforming the space with seasonal artwork and gardens. This is the fourth BMS banner we will be contributing to the Raab Clinic collection.
Winning sketch by: Riley Propst
All Art students participated in creating a sketch for the proposed design and voted on their favorite. Riley Propst was the chosen winner this year and he selected his own team of artists to help him complete his banner.
