All about Mrs. Brooke DePinto
After graduating from UNC-Chapel Hill, Mrs. Brooke DePinto began her career as a special education teacher, working with K-2 students in Union County, NC. In 2003, she completed her Masters in School Counseling from Appalachian State University and returned to Union County as an elementary school counselor. After marrying her husband, Chris, in 2005 she went on to work in Virginia and South Carolina as an elementary and middle school counselor. In 2015, Mrs. DePinto moved to Wake County as a school counselor and completed her Graduate Certificate in School Leadership and Administration. She has served as Assistant Principal of Moore Square Magnet Middle School in Raleigh since 2018.

In 2018, Mrs. DePinto and her husband purchased a home in Emerald Isle to enjoy on the weekends and throughout the summer. They soon fell in love with Carteret County and decided that weekends and summers were simply not enough. Mrs. DePinto is grateful to make the Crystal Coast her full time residence and serve the Beaufort Middle School Community. She and her husband live in Emerald Isle with their two rescue beagle mixes. She enjoys reading, running, Tar Heel basketball, the beach, and her spoiled pups. She is excited to be principal of Beaufort Middle School and looks forward to partnering with the families and community for the students of BMS.
