Frequently Asked Questions Beta Club Edition
Eligibility - Students must be in 7th or 8th grade. Students must have an overall Grade Average of 93% or higher for the year 2017-18 and first semester 2018-19. Students must have scored Level III or higher on all most recent (2017-18) EOGs
*Sixth Grade students are not eligible for membership.
If I joined last year am I still a member? - Yes we have 8th grade students who were inducted during the 2017-18 academic year who are continuing members of the BMS Beta Club chapter.
What does Beta Club do? - Beta Club focuses on service and recognizing academic excellence. Members will be asked to complete a set number of community service hours, volunteering for different activities.
Accepting Invitation to Join - The invitations include a section at the bottom which must be completed and returned teachers with a check or cash payment of $15 for National Beta dues on or before Thursday, February 14th.
When will Induction Ceremony be? - Tuesday, February 26th (time to be announced) in the BMS gym with a short reception for new members and families immediately following
