My name is Noelle Hutcheson and I'm delighted to be joining the Beaufort Middle School Charger family. I moved to the area from Statesboro, Georgia with my husband Andrew and we are loving the coastal area. I received my Bachelor of Music in Music Education from Georgia Southern University in May 2020. Throughout my undergraduate studies, I performed with several ensembles and worked with many middle school students teaching private lessons for two years. I played trumpet in the Georgia Southern University Symphonic Wind Ensemble and had the honor of performing at the Georgia Music Educators Association Conference with the ensemble in 2019. I also played in the GSU Jazz Ensemble, Trumpet Ensemble, and Brass Quintets. In 2015-2016, I performed with the Atlanta CV Drum & Bugle Corps, where I received the Rookie Visual Performer of the
Year Award and was a featured soloist. As you can tell, I love playing instruments and making music!
In addition to my band and trumpet experiences, I also sang in the University Singers choir and I am currently the Choir Director at FUMC Havelock. I have been a member of
Georgia Music Educators Association, now North Carolina MEA, and am a member of the National Association for Music Education. I also hold alumna status in Sigma Alpha Iota International Music Fraternity and Kappa Kappa Psi National Honorary Band Fraternity.
I am looking forward to an awesome year with lots of musical progress and fun lessons and experiences.
